Having a highly venomous zebra cobra on the loose in North Carolina was not good news to head into a holiday weekend. Zebra Cobra's are able to spit venom from nine feet away! A Raleigh home owner spotted the cobra on his front porch and called to report it but when officers arrived the snake was no longer there. Later, animal control was able to catch the snake and safely remove it after the snake returned for an evening slither back up on the porch!
