Unemployed North Carolinians Should Receive $900 Soon

North Carolinians who are currently unemployed because of the pandemic will soon receive $900 deposited into their bank account.

The money will be given due to the lost wages assistance program, a program that hopes to give those who are unemployed an added boost since the federal CARES Act benefit expired.

The funds will make up for three weeks of unemployment benefits. North Carolina's funds were approved this week and are expected to be sent out soon.
