WHAT: Veterans Bridge Home holds emergency food drive for Charlotte Rescue Mission

(August 18, 2020) Veterans Bridge Home is conducting a food drive for urgent needs at Charlotte Rescue Mission. The food drive is taking place at the Mission's Rebound campus for men. Veterans, as well as the entire Charlotte community, are invited to participate and engage in the drive.

“Veterans who move to our community are fortunate to have so many incredible organizations here to support them and their families,” said Steven Cole, VP of Advancement at Veterans Bridge Home. “So when we saw that Charlotte Rescue Mission needs help filling their pantry, we thought holding a food drive could serve as a small way for us to repay some of that generosity.”

Items to be collected:

  • Ground Roast Coffee
  • Ground Beef
  • Breakfast Meat
  • Butter/Margarine
  • Fruit/Vegetables
  • Salad Mix
  • Oatmeal
  • Eggs
  • Cheese
  • Grits
  • Dry Cereal
