Today I turned another year older and as I reflect back on all the MANY many memories I've made during the past year... I immediately give a big huge THANK YOU to God for the MANY blessings in my life. I want to thank YOU too! Thank you for all the love you have shown me today AND throughout the year. One of my greatest blessings is my tribe of friends who surround me and richly bless my life with their presence.
For the past few years I've spent my Birthday at Chuck E Cheese (per the request of my kids) but due to the COVID-19 pandemic we made new Birthday memories and I can easily say that my first Birthday 'lock down' was one of the best Birthday's of my life! My husband had beautifully decorated my home with balloons and surprised me with breakfast!! He and my boys surprised me with my very own Hover buggy. (A hover board with a seat attached that turns it into a go-cart) My sister Nikki decorated the front of my house with balloons and party streamers and left the sweetest gifts. One of my absolute favorites was the bracelet my niece made all by herself! My 5-year-old Bear and I raced our Hover buggies... we ate waaaaaaaaaaaaay too much junk food.... I was SHOWERED with hugs and kisses from my house full of boys and even got to spend time outside with my parents and got a Birthday love from my younger sister who lives in Asheville.
This is also the first year I didn't get a Birthday hug from my parents, from my sister, niece or nephews. It was the first Birthday where we made our Birthday greetings meaningful but fast and only outside. But ya'll I am SO BLESSED!!!!! I have my family surrounding me with their love during every season of my life and THAT is the best gift of all.
Corona didn't and can not steal my joy. I'll never forget this Birthday; so much love that my heart literally could burst. 1 Corinthians 13:13 "Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love". THANK YOU for the greatest gift, LOVE
