Samaritan's Feet Wash The Feet And Give New Shoes To Lake Arbor Tenants

The tenants at the Lake Arbor apartments are being forced to find housing elsewhere while major repairs are made to the complex. Finding new housing in Charlotte isn't easy. Many apartments require first, last month and security deposits to secure residency. Finding housing in the school same school zone could also be difficult. Samaritan's Feet wanted to show compassion to the tenants who are dealing with immense stress. Over the weekend, they brought around 250 pairs of new shoes to the complex. They washed the feet of the tenants and gave them new socks and shoes.

Washing the feet of strangers may seem odd to some but it's biblical!

If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet. For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you. Most assuredly, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his master; nor is he who is sent greater than he who sent him. If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them.— John 13:14–17 (NKJV)

Even former Carolina Panther wide receiver, Steve Smith has taken part of washing the feet and serving others.
