You know.... that weird parent that gets all excited on your kids Birthday and you go out of your way to celebrate and show them how much they're loved. Growing up, my parents would give us Birthday whoopin's .... that "one to grow on" was PAINFUL!! So my sisters and I got smart and we started hiding the night going into our Birthday. When we got older we would move furniture in front of the door! It sounds awful but looking back it's those memories you cherish the most.
