Support Local Highway State Patrol Officer Who Was Injured On The Job

North Carolina State Highway Trooper Christopher Wooten has served the community for 14 years and sadly he was was recently injured during a pursuit. Trooper Wooten was chasing a car on his motorcycle on July 22nd when his life was changed forever. As he was chasing the car another car hit him at the intersection of Tuckaseegee road and Queen City Drive. The injuries he sustained after the wreck has left him paralyzed from the neck down. Trooper Wooten could really use the support from the community at this time. Prayers are much appreciated but if you feel led to help even more.... A fundraiser for the family is available through the NC State Employees Credit Union. If you have a few extra bucks that you could spare that would go to a great cause... you can make a financial donation at any NC Credit Union branch to the special account under Christopher and Sharon Wooten.
