The Oscar Mix Up, Who REALLY Won Best Picture?!

It is the biggest award of the night, and at first we were told that La La Land had won for Best Picture.
The card in the envelope said Emma Stone, La La Land, and that is what was announced, but it wasn't the correct envelope!
The cast took the stage, many gave their acceptance speeches, but then the mistake was realized and corrected.

But it wasn’t the presenter’s fault, and in the early hours of Monday, the accounting company issued a statement apologizing for the flub.

“We sincerely apologize to “Moonlight,” “La La Land,” Warren Beatty, Faye Dunaway, and Oscar viewers for the error that was made during the award announcement for Best Picture,” it read. “The presenters had mistakenly been given the wrong category envelope and when discovered, was immediately corrected. We are currently investigating how this could have happened, and deeply regret that this occurred.”

They added: “We appreciate the grace with which the nominees, the Academy, ABC, and Jimmy Kimmel handled the situation.”

Already the comedians are having fun with the mixup!
